Chairperson's Message

I’m honoured to share what BNC stands for. We exist to bring our Nepalese community together—to support one another, grow stronger, and thrive in British society while proudly preserving our unique identity.
Our strength lies in unity, especially in the deep values and legacy of our Gurkha veterans and their families. Their courage and resilience continue to guide and inspire us.
Through strong partnerships with local leaders and organisations, we host cultural and educational events that bring joy, connection, and lifelong learning.
We’ve been recognised with awards that reflect our impact, but the true reward is the growing pride, confidence, and unity within our community. Back home, we shared traditions, values, and close bonds and here in the UK, we’re doing the same. Together, we’re making BNC our home, a place where every generation feels seen, supported, and proud.
Being part of BNC isn’t just about leadership; it is about uplifting, connecting, and reminding all of their strength, independence, and the power of self-respect.
To every woman in our community, we see you, we honour you, and we stand beside you. Your voice matters, your story matters, you are the heart of our future.
So I invite you: get involved, speak up, and take pride in which you are. Together, we’re not just building a community—we’re creating a brighter future.
